Belinda, Belle to most has lived most of her life in South Australia, and the past 16 years in the picturesque town of Springton, just between the Adelaide Hills and the Barossa Valley.
With Arabian horses living around her home grazing on the lawn ~ quite simply, Arabian horses are part of the family.
Belle has had a close association with the Arabian horses for more than 30 years and started breeding 28 years ago; Mikinda Arabians was founded. The Studs aim was to produce outstanding Arabians with the intention of being great saddle horses either purebred or derivative that were known for their incredible movement, style and temperament. The studs breeding stock was carefully selected for temperament, type, conformation and purity of paces, this being so important to Belinda as a rider with the intention of producing her next saddle horse.
Belinda has been involved in training and showing Arabian horses for clients as well as her own Arabian show horses for numerous years traveling to all the major interstate shows to compete. A host of many championships and Supremes where won under saddle and in halter. During this time heavily involved in all three Arabian clubs in South Australia and involved in the combining of these clubs, running shows and conducting seminars.
Belinda also supports the Arabian horse industry as a National Panel Arabian horse Judge, and has been privileged to have been appointed judging commitments that have taken her all over Australia and New Zealand.
